Retouch: If you are covering grey or touching up your new growth, this service is for you! Keep in mind that this is not a stand-alone service for highlighted new growth, but rather for “solid” coverage. If grey coverage is needed, your Designer may suggest using a Root Retouch to conceal the grey before adding or touching up your highlights.
Full Color: This service is used for clients who are desiring a solid All-Over color.
Accent Foil: Priced per foil. Accent Highlights are the perfect service for those seeking a fun pop of color or a few fresh pieces to frame your face and add subtle dimension to a specific area.
Accent Balayage: Priced per hand painted placement. This service is done using a hand painted technique rather than a foil to create a soft regrowth, while providing face framing and subtle dimension in the most natural and seamless way.
Partial Foil: The E.A. Wells Hair Design Partial Highlight starts at the front of your hairline and stops at the top of the ears. Approximately 25-30 foils are placed to add a pop of color and dimension around the face. If a highlight and lowlight is desired an extra charge may be applied for the additional tone.
Full Foil: The E.A. Wells Hair Design Full Highlight provides an “all over” look using Approximately 30+ foils. The client’s hair will be parted into sections in order to place the foils evenly throughout the entire head, including the underneath. If a highlight and lowlight is desired an extra charge may be applied for the additional tone. If a client is trying is trying to transition from a Brunette to a Blonde, multiple Full Foil services may be needed.
Balayage: This service is perfect for clients that are seeking a low maintenance service that is trendy yet adds natural dimensional highlights. Balayage is a technique that is serviced by hand painting soft, natural highlights for a smoother regrowth. Hand painted highlights help eliminate harsh regrowth lines and add wiggle room into your color routine maintenance. This technique can be used to create dimension in all hair colors and can be customized to specific shades – no two paintings are alike! This is also a great way to dip your toe in the color pool if you’ve never colored your hair before. If a toner or glaze is needed to transition your look into the desired shade, an additional charge may be applied.
Ombre: The hair world borrowed the term 'ombre' from the French word meaning shaded or shading. Ombre hair color is generally darker at the roots through the mid-shaft and then gradually gets lighter from the mid-shaft to the ends. It is usually achieved using a hand painted technique and is ideal for clients looking for a low-maintenance style that adds a touch of color to his or her overall look.
Glaze: A Glaze, also known as a “toner” or “gloss” is often used to counter-act any unwanted hues. This process helps match your hair to the desired tone, while blending your color and adding shine. This service is usually done at the shampoo bowl where you will process for 10 minutes or more until the desired tone is reached. In most cases, a glaze is used as a second step in a color service or in-between color appointments. Based on how your hair reacts to color a Glaze may be used to freshen up faded color, cancel out any unwanted tones, brighten and blend the hair from roots to tips. Ask your E.A. Wells Hair Designer about the benefits of adding a Glaze to your color service or using a Glaze to help maintain your color in-between services.
Clear Gloss: If boosted shine is what you desire, then a Clear Gloss may be just what you need! This service not only adds sheen, but also polishes the beauty of your color overall

(Step 1 is added to your color, Step 2 as a treatment at the shampoo bowl and Step 3 is used at home as a weekly treatment to keep the magic going)

Permanent Waves: A permanent wave, commonly called a perm or "permanent", involves the use of heat and/or chemicals to break and reform the cross-linking bonds of the hair structure. The hair is washed and wrapped on a form and waving lotion or 'reagent' is applied. This solution reacts chemically softening the inner structure of the hair by breaking some of the cross links within and between the protein chains of the hair. The hair swells, stretches and softens, then molds around the shape of the form. This creates a customizable curly hair pattern according to the client’s needs. This service is not suggested for individuals with processed hair, however this can be determined during a consultation.
Keratin Treatment: Keratin is a protein found naturally in our hair. With our current lifestyle and environmental factors, hair tends to get drier and lose its natural keratin because of pollution, heat, styling, coloring etc. A Keratin hair treatment helps infuse the vital keratin element back into each strand of hair – this helps the hair become healthier, smoother and much easier to style. Keratin treatments eliminate the frizz factor from the hair while protecting it from damaging UV rays and humidity. Keratin Treatments provide a “Straighter” effect and eliminate more curl pattern than a Brazilian Blowout may do. Most Keratin Treatments last up to 6 months. After receiving a Keratin Treatment, all hair ties, clips, pins, headbands, pony tails, and showers should be avoided.
Brazilian Blowout: Brazilian Blowout professional smoothing treatments are the most innovative and effective in the world. Through the use of breakthrough bonding technologies, these customizable smoothing treatments actually improve the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle. The end result is smooth, frizz-free hair with radiant shine!
WHY BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT? Customizable – keep curls and lose frizz or achieve the smoothest result possible. No Down Time – leave salon and immediately wash hair, exercise, put hair in a stylish pony tail or clip without worry. Great for All Hair Types – curly, kinky, coily, frizzy, fine, damaged or coarse, we’ve got you covered. No Permanent Change to your Curl Pattern – after about 12 weeks, natural curl pattern returns. No Line of Demarcation with New Hair Growth – great for transitioning from Japanese straighteners, relaxers or other keratin treatments. Treatment is Finished at E.A. Wells Hair Design – after approximately 120 minutes, you will leave the salon with smooth, frizz-free hair for up to 12 weeks. Unlike other Keratin Treatments, you can use a hair tie, workout at the gym, or jump in the shower immediately. We suggest maintaining a 3-month maintenance schedule. Color clients: we suggest servicing all color services before receiving a Brazilian Blowout service. Root Regrowth may be serviced, two weeks after receiving a Brazilian Blowout.
Eyelash Extensions: Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. At E.A. Wells Hair Design, individual mink eyelashes are applied to each individual eyelash by using an adhesive glue. False eyelash strips and eyelash extensions are not the same. We suggest coming in for an eyelash refill every 3-4 weeks to maintain a full look. At home care plays a huge role in how long a client may go between eyelash refills.
Eyelash Facts: On average, 1 to 5 lashes fall down every day. New lashes grow frequently and replace the lost ones to maintain the complete thick look. The eyelash cycle is approximately four to twelve weeks. Do not be alarmed if some of your lashes fall out quickly (they most likely were at the end of their cycle). It can take a few Refill appointments to get into the groove of your lash cycle. Most individuals have approximately 150 to 200 natural individual lashes on the top lid, while the bottom eyelid may have somewhere between 75 and 100 hairs. The speed of growth is often impacted by the age and health of the individual. Older individuals tend to lose more eyelashes as they age and it can take longer for them to grow back.
